Just in time for the changing of leaves here in Seattle, we’re releasing a single cask whiskey in collaboration with Patterson Cellars. The base recipe holds our familiar 5-malt-recipe which carries notes of chocolate and toast. The finishing cask comes from our neighbors at Patterson Cellars, and sings notes of rich and sturdy dark fruit, without bringing sweetness.
Nose: Bran muffin, ginger bread, gardenia, strawberry ice cream.
Palate: Maraschino cherry, oolong tea, black pepper, light maple candy, roasted almonds.
