Uncle Nearest, as it continues to expand its operations as an American whiskey producer, recently unveiled its first ever rye whiskey.
The new Uncle Nearest Rye is made up of rye sourced from Canada (“according to the exact American specifications required to be a Straight Rye Whiskey,” noted the distillery) and matured in New York. After having been aged for four years, the Uncle Nearest team brought it back to Tennessee to rest and finish in its barrels before being bottled.
