106 bottles of this exceptional blend were created, housed in hand-blown, individually numbered crystal decanters. Over 52 years of maturation, the last 14 years were spent fully finishing in a single oak cask to create a blend of superb harmony.
TASTING NOTES
The nose is a wonderland of intense, ripe plums, toffee apples, dark chocolate-covered hazelnuts and a crown of sweet aromatic oak.
Now the taste: sweet orange marmalade with hints of ginger and scented cloves mingles with soft, ripe pears in syrup and a touch of liquorice. The finish is incredibly long, sweet and impeccably balanced.
