Aged for seven years in our Bushwick warehouse and, likely due to a small cooperage flaw, subjected to a much greater-than-usual angel’s share of 48%, Bottled-in-Bond Single Barrel #1666 displays excellent character that deviates significantly from any of our established house styles. An appealing nose of lanolin and vanilla leads into a complex and layered palate of toffee brittle, toasted pecan, and soft leather. An undercurrent of light fruit is also present throughout, and the sip culminates in a long, slightly peppery finish.
