The distiller’s notes for the rye show that on the nose, you’ll find aromas of poached pear, bitter orange, ground ginger, lavender, wet sandalwood, tanned leather on a wooden work bench. It tastes of stewed apples with cinnamon, brown sugar oatmeal with golden raisins, salted caramels, fresh ginger, coriander, star anise, and eucalyptus.
