Description
Hibiki, meaning “Resonance” in Japanese, honors the Harmony that lives between Nature and People. From its introduction in 1989 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Suntory, the Hibiki bottle has consistently been embraced as a work of Japanese art. Symbolizing “Japanese harmony”, the elegant bottle design showcases the twenty-four season of Japan inspired by the traditional Japanese calendar as jewel-like facets.
The 2021 limited edition bottle design of Hibiki Japanese Harmony pays tribute to the Ryusui-Hyakka (One-Hundred Flowers and Flowing Water). The design motif epitomizes the cyclical passage of time, showcasing the blossoms of the Japanese twenty-four seasons juxtaposed with the ever-changing flow of water that connects one passing season to another. We celebrate the much-loved blooms, colours and shapes of seasonal flowers that make the Japanese year so special. Each blossom is an exquisite, delicate creation evoking treasured memories, sensory pleasures and emotions.
