Description
Digestive biscuits, bananas, sweet sherry and spice. This is the taste of Scotland’s slowest distillation, matured in first-fill European and American oak Oloroso sherry casks, refill casks and bourbon barrels. It is then bottled as tradition insists: at cask strength, un-chillfiltered.
Each hand-blown decanter is engraved, numbered, collared in gold with a crystal stopper. The gull-wing box is solid oak, hand-crafted, bespoke. The leather? Hand-stitched and Bentley-red.
Duncan, our stillman, joined in 1977. Not long after, he crafted the spirit that would eventually find its way into this exceptional bottling.A lot has happened in 35 years – but in the cool darkness of our dunnage warehouse, time runs a little more slowly. While the world changed, the unique flavours of this whisky intensified with each passing moment in the cask. It was worth the wait.
