‘Tequila Enemigo 89 was named after the 89 iterations it took to perfect the multiple award-winning expression. In July 2019, it was the first-ever Añejo Cristalino to win a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards. This followed up on a further Double Gold at the China Wine and Spirits Awards, and Gold at the Las Vegas Spirits Competition.’
The spirit is aged traditionally for over a year, resting in new American Oak Barrels which infuse the liquid and turn it amber. It is then filtered using our three-phase Carbon-Cellulose system which removes the color and softened the taste.
The result is an incredibly smooth and approachable yet flavorsome tequila which will convert even the most ardent agave-skeptic.
