After 36 years of aging, rum was put for 8 months and 4 days in previously used wheated-bourbon casks from the 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.
NOSE: luxuriously soft and approachable, vanilla, butter caramel, coffee bean, and cocoa.
PALATE: satiny, mocha, butter pecan, dark molasses, and dried fruit.
FINISH: coffee, maple syrup, tobacco and a touch of oak. Exquisitely indulgent and unquestionably rich.
