Description

Clase Azul Añejo, also known as “Edición Indígena-Mazahua” (Mazahua Edition) attributed to the bottle design’s tribute to the culture, is a high-end añejo tequila made from Tequilana Weber Blue Agave. Its intense amber color and layered aromas are a result of an extended period of aging.

Tequila Clase Azul Añejo “Edición Indígena-Mazahua” is a top-rated añejo tequila made from Tequilana Weber Blue Agave. Its intense amber color and layered aromas are a result of its extended period of aging. Its specific decanter is molded and decorated by Mazahua natives, a group indigenous to the small village of Santa María Canchesdá. From the bottom of the bottle to the top, the spiral designs on unfired clay symbolizes Mother Earth’s fertility. Once the agave has reached its targeted ripeness and is harvested, the spirit of agave is obtained. The ornamentation of the bottle concludes at the neck of the bottle with a 24 karat gold vermeil charm medallion and feathered layout that distinctively represents Clase Azul.

Each Tequila Clase Azul Añejo piece is autographed by the master distiller and the unique Mazahuan artisan. As a result, we're combining history, art and first-class tequila in an exemplary expression for Clase Azul.
