Description
Agave distributed in the states of Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz, where it forms small colonies on climbing rhizomes in the dry scrub area or in the meadows, with elongated vertical crowns of stiff, succulent leaves and a pale green color. They are heavily armed with black teeth along the edges, forming a prodigious living barrier. Karwinskii have been successfully domesticated and can withstand drought and moderate frosts.
