Don Papa Small Batch Rum is produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company on the southern island of Negros in the Philippines. The rum is distilled from molasses, then aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels, and lastly charcoal filtered.
This spice rum is a majestic tawny color with hues of golden rich heather, much lighter in the cloying viscosity than the other expressions of Kōloa Rums, due to the higher ABV at 44%. The legs are thin and evenly expressed around the glass.
The Forgotten Casks of Chairman’s Reserve is an extra aged sipping rum crafted to mimic rum found in the original forgotten casks of Chairman’s Reserve, which were preserved from St. Lucia Distillers horrific fire on May 2, 2007. The cellar master was forced to find appropriate however unusual storage space for his rum barrels during the rehabilitation of the distillery, and these casks were barrels misplaced during this time of confusion. These forgotten casks gave him rum too old for the original Chairman’s Reserve blend, so it was decided this rum would be released on its own, as an extra aged Chairman’s Reserve to worldwide acclaim. St. Lucia Distillers continues to hold back select Chairman’s Reserve for extra aging to offer a limited release of the Chairman’s Forgotten Casks.
CHARACTER AND DELIGHT
A tribute to the character created by Charles Dickens in the Pickwick Papers, Reverend Stiggins, whose favorite drink was “pineapple rum.”
The barks of Victoria pineapples are infused in Plantation 3 Stars rum, which is then further distilled. Separately, the pineapple fruit is infused in Plantation Original Dark rum. Both distillate and fruit infusion are finally blended together, creating a rich and delicious pineapple bouquet, accented by smoky and clove notes.

Cutwater Spirits Three Sheets Barrel Aged Rum is aged in virgin American Oak barrels for 2 years and is made using organic evaporated cane sugar.
For the 15 Year expression, freshly-distilled sugarcane is laid into used American Oak bourbon whiskey casks for initially for 3 years before a 12-year finishing in used Tennessee and Canadian rye whiskey casks that have been toasted, not charred. The interplay between these barrels maintains the desired balance between the rum’s intrinsic qualities and the characteristics introduced by the oak.
