The first thing you see when you look at this bottle is a pair of ‘crazy’ eyes; Kleiner Feigling translates from German into ‘Little Coward’ which is not only funny but also explains the fearful look in those eyes on the label! It is made in Germany from neutral grain spirits (triple distilled/charcoal filtered) and Mediterranean figs, which why they call it ‘Fig Vodka’ –it is vodka infused with figs. Even if you are not a fig lover Kleiner Feigling will surprise you The aromas smell like perfectly ripe golden honey figs or fresh peach cobbler–very tempting. The flavors are mild, creamy and utterly delightful showing stewed peaches with fig without becoming overly sweet. The finish is light, with a delicate lingering of the flavors. The balance and gracefulness of this works great on the rocks with a twist, in a cocktail, on fruit or as a shot.
