Description
This cask bottling, distilled in February 1996, spent 23 years maturing in a refill Bourbon Barrel. It was bottled at cask strength in March 2019 at 49.2% ABV. Cask #874 yielded 195 bottles.

White Tea
Nose
Quite aromatic with notes of dried chamomile and honied chamomile tea, damp malted barley. Hints of citrus and powdered sugared baked goods (think beignets). Delicate toffee notes and a touch of echinacea
Palate
Rich and malty but the mineraly backbone found in all Imperials can not be ignored. An interesting salty quality to this which helps to highlight the sweet yet savory aspect of this whisky. Notes of carrot cake and candied lemon peels take us to the finish
Finish
Long with citrus and malt but delicate in its final delivery
