Usquaebach” (Oos: Ke: Bah) the name derived from the ancient Gaelic (Original Scots  language) phrase, “uisge beatha” meaning water of life. It is the Gaelic words from which the word “whisky” comes from.

’Tam O’Shanter’  (1790) with the words “Wi  usquabae we’ll face the de’il”. (or “with Usquaeabach we’ll face the devil”)
Tradition, history and heritage are all a part of the Usquaebach Reserve. Hand selected mature whis-kies from our bottler’s private reserves comprise this high quality premium Scotch. This is a rare blend of whiskies aged 16, 17 and 18 years, combined with younger malts for a complex and rich Scotch whisky of uncompromising quality.
This marriage of ‘Reserve’ whiskies offers layered hints of honeyed sherry notes, a very long finish and is rounded by sweet spices.

Strength: Distilled at 43% ABV
Appearance: Golden Straw
Nose: Honeyed sherry notes with hints of baked apples and pear
Body: Light to medium bodied, crisp and very approachable
Wood: Re-fill bourbon casks, along with malts aged in Oloroso Sherry
Palate: Bright and citrusy, with zesty spice and caramel glaze.
Finish: Lengthy, subtle and smooth
