The Real McCoy 10 Year Old Limited Edition Virgin Oak Rum is a vigorous articulation from Barbados made by mixing rums matured in both Bourbon and Virgin American Oak containers.
Made at Foursquare Distillery, this articulation depends on a higher level of copper pot still distillate for a more extravagant flavor profile. Two groups are aged independently. The first stays in for twelve years in utilized Bourbon barrels. The second, ages ten years in virgin American oak containers.
Deliberately mixed to adjust flavors, the outcome is packaged at a tough 92 proof, a case of the true style of fine aged rum that made Barbados renowned all around the world.
Fragrances of ripe banana, toasted spread pecan, huge oak and vanilla are emphasized by a natural product. On the sense of taste, dark colored margarine over singed oak brings vanilla, toasted almond and tart dried organic product with a proposal of consumed sugar. The clean finish offers enduring notes of dull buttered toast and a high amount of oak.
