Koloa Kauai Coconut Rum
Koloa Kauai Coconut Rum is made using an incredible vintage copper pot still that is steam powered. It is cut using the filtered water that flows from Mount Waialeale, an ancient landmark of the island of Hawaii. It is distilled from cane sugar, which produces a rum with notes of raw and toasted coconuts with a slight air of pina colada on the nose. Delivering with a deceptively dry introduction, the taste of baby coconut flesh greets the front of the palate. The finish is delightfully tropical with notes of toasted coconut, fresh lime zest and hint of caramelized pineapple.
