The bold spice of organic ginger root expands during a long infusion in our batch-distilled spirits, then delicately balances the sweetness of organic agave nectar and cane sugar. Sip New Deal Ginger Liqueur as a digestif or use it to add a spicy complexity to cocktails.
New Deal Ginger Liqueur Three-time Gold Medal Winner!
New Deal Ginger Liqueur was voted Best in Category at the 8th Annual judging of craft American spirits by the American Distilling Institute (ADI) in 2014, and received the Gold Medal Award for Flavored Liqueur.
Beverage Testing Institute, 2013 International Review of Spirits Award: Cloudy yellow gray color. Aromas of ginger lozenge, chamomile tea, and pepper jelly with a supple, mildly sweet medium body and a warming hot ginger, cinnamon, and umami accented finish with notes suggesting marinated mushroom and dried meat. Very bold and multidimensional; will be great in culinary cocktails. RATING: 93 points (Exceptional)
New Deal Ginger Liqueur was awarded the only Gold Medal in the Other Liqueurscategory at the 9th Annual Great American Distillers Festival in Portland, Oregon in 2013.
New Deal Ginger Liqueur Bronze Medal Winner

New Deal Ginger Liqueur Moscow Mule
A refreshing, gingery classic! You don’t need ginger beer to make an amazing Moscow Mule when you have our Ginger Liqueur on hand.

1 oz Portland Vodka
1 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur
Club soda
Lime wedge

Pour New Deal Vodka and Ginger Liqueur over ice in a copper Moscow Mule mug. Top with club soda and finish with a generous squeeze of lime.
Willamette Week Says “Recommended”
The Ginger Liqueur, which contains only sugar, ginger and unspecified “spirits,” is a little too intense to drink on its own without ice. Drop a half-ounce of it and a jigger of bourbon on the rocks, though, and you’ve got the best whiskey ginger you’re ever likely to taste. Don’t like whiskey? Mix it up with vodka and lime for a Moscow Mule, or dark rum and soda for a perfect Dark and Stormy. Recommended
